Who we are
Songfable is published by Campania Capital Limited, a brand strategy and creative firm based in Fukuoka and Hong Kong. We started Songfable because the stories behind great songs — who wrote them, what they really meant, the era that shaped them — were mostly available only in English. Music is global; its stories should be too.
How our articles are made
We are open about our process: Songfable articles are drafted with the help of AI research and writing tools, working under human editorial direction. Every article follows the same editorial standard:
- Story first. Each article explains what a song is about, the artist and era behind it, and why it still resonates — written for readers in their own language, not machine-translated from English.
- No lyrics reproduced. We never quote song lyrics, in the original or in translation. We describe meaning in our own words and always encourage listening to the song itself.
- Honest uncertainty. Where the historical record is disputed or anecdotal, we say so ("reportedly", "it is said") rather than presenting rumor as fact.
- Quality gate. Every article passes an automated structural and length audit before publication; articles that fail are not published.
- Dated honestly. Publication and update dates shown to search engines reflect when an article was actually written or changed.
Corrections
If you find a factual error in any article, we want to know. Tell us which page and what is wrong, and we will review and correct it.
